STATE STREET KITCHEN INCUBATOR PROGRAM

State Street Kitchen is a shared use commissary kitchen in New Hampshire’s Capital City. We provide rentable space and commercial equipment for aspiring food entrepreneurs, local businesses, home cooks, and more. We aim to provide resources, programming, and funding to elevate Concord’s up and coming food and small business community. Led by Alex Stoyle of Revelstoke Coffee and Jordan Reynolds of Col’s Kitchen, two thriving restaurants in downtown Concord, the Commissary is a hub for networking, new ideas, and the perfect place to build your toolkit as a food-loving creative.

State Street Kitchen’s Incubator Program is geared toward community members interested in getting their start as a food entrepreneur. The Incubator Program will provide a scholarship to those accepted that covers full or partial costs of the commercial food licensing process: the greatest costs associated with which are the ServSafe Course and the Commercial Food License application itself. The total cost associated with getting a Commercial Food License is approximately $500, and requires a physical commercially licensed kitchen.

Scholarship recipients will receive full or partial support from the Kitchen in covering their Food License costs; access to Q&A and study and networking support from Alex of Revelstoke, Jordan of Cols, and Casey of Carousel Concord; and a free use period at the Commissary as they get their business of the ground and through the initial licensing steps. Applicants may indicate that they do not have financial need and would like to apply only for licensing support and use of the Commissary.

State Street Kitchen supports this program through paid events and donations, and is continuing to raise funds to accommodate it.
